Help need with iTune/Iphone !!!

Help !!

My wife's just gone to her notes in her iPhone, the list's flashed up and then cleared. All it says now is 'No Notes'!!

I HAVE to get them back.
I've tried restoring from itunes, nothings changed (conforming my view of Apple's software).
I sync'd the phone yesterday, but that date isn't showing in the restore options, but I do have 2 listing with no date after them ??
Also, I can't find in the iTunes folder on C: where it keeps the backup files? I read it should be a folder called 'USERS' but its not there !

What options are there? Is there some kind of undelete app somewhere.

Thanks for that.

As you were posting I found them (running under Windows 7 btw).

Now the problems multiply... I've found the backup folder, but all that's there is a backup from tonight and 2 from April !! Where the hell's iTunes put the one from yesterday for god sake !!!
It can't be that badly written.... can it ??

I doubt it would have worked any way, I've done a restore stupidly thinking that it would do a restore !

OK, see if CopyTrans can pull off your missing data. I know that works with a Touch.

I try, but if I've restored and restarted doesn't that mean its done a memory clear as past of the process ?

I guess, but it will let you look to see if there's anything on the device memory left independently of iTunes.

No, nothing there. Music, pdf's (books) and music. That's it.

I've lost all faith in Apple. iTunes spent 15 minutes syncing yesterday and there *^&(*(* all been saved by the look it.
And the phone !! Why display all the notes for a couple of seconds and the trash the lot!

Fantastic software and hardware! Looks like it was written by a class of 5 year old if it this reliable.

Bin iTunes and stick with CopyTrans Manager http://www.copytrans.net/copytransmanager.php or the other app I'd highly recommend for iPod etc is http://www.mediamonkey.com/
