A Pound Of Fat

Can some one tell me what a One pound of fat equals to in food wise? How much food is this? Even if you tell me its marg or butter that you buy wrapped up, it would give me some idea then?

I have no scale thingy here to measure it. for example,

    A pound of fat is about 3,500 calories
    Approx 3232 calories in 1 pound of butter

    nothing, just cant find thread for fats and things. I guess it is technology in a way. A pound of fat could be a pound equivalent to inside pc or something. as in gigabytes equiv. dunno

    16oz is one Il and therefore 2x8oz packs of wrapped marg/butter.

    Well according to this website, losing a pound of body fat would require you to reduce your energy intake by 3,500 calories, which is roughly 14.644MJ - enough energy to power a computer consuming an average of 250W for just over 16hrs 15min.
