Evening everyone. Been to Tesco tonight with a handful of coupons to use. Managed to use 6 Dove coupons so was pleased with that after them refusing to take them the other day and with today being the last day of the BOGOF offer. Used the free Dr Pepper, plus a few other coupons, got a £22 shop down to £10, so was really pleased. The young lad didn't even read the coupons, he just asked me if I had bought everything, which I had. Very happy! :T
Just to add to something mentioned earlier about Co-op taking coupons. I have real bother using internet coupons in my local Co-op, they even refuse coupons that are to be used in Co-op! I rang head office a few weeks back and they told me that they should be accepting them and they would ring them to ask them to do so, I still have bother, so I just don't shop there with coupons, sick of the carry on I get everytime.0 -
Thought it might be worth sharing for anyone who has their coupn for a FREE GALAXY 197g from Facebook last Friday. If you have access to two make sure if you are spending them in Tesco you put them through together. There was no signage up this evening and the website doesn't mention but they appear to be £1.89 each (correct SEL), but also 2 for £3 (didn't see any sign). Have deduced this after purchasing the New Galaxy Cookie Crumble and the Orange Shortcake varieties. Upon checking my receipt an offer of chocolates 2 for £3 is showing deducting 78p. Therefore Tesco paid me 78p to take them away. (Cause I'd got 2 coupons which did scan through at £1.89)
Good spot! Just a warning though that the coupons do say 'one per household' so if the SA reads it closely there might be a problem.2014 wins: £15 iTunes voucher, £15 Amazon voucher, Sharwood's wok & sauces, Food Lover's Guide to the World book, £20 Tesco giftcard, Goodfellas x 3, Garnier skin cream, £25 Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito meal, £20 Frankie & Benny's, Panebello pizza, Harlan Coben book0 -
Haha, I had messed with the printer settings and the galaxy coupons printed out really small so the small writing couldnt be read but they scanned ok. That was accidental though, dont think most SA's even consider looking at the small print just if you have bought the right item.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I have a lurker on this forum and also a newbie when it comes to couponing. However, when in Mr S earlier got a till spit on the self serve till and also noticed about 6 others on the floor - grabbed them to find 3 x £4 off a £20 spend so hubby off to Mr T's to stock up on beer with these.
Also, got 4 £2 off Innocent drinks in the post after complaining about a leaky product of theirs - so it pays to complain!
Looking forward to saving money on products and stocking up on good deals as well xMFW - currently at £23,610 (Aug 2014) MFD 20200
