I don't post much but a big thank you to idlesaver and myrtleturtle :j.

I am going shopping tonight at t's as I have a big stack of coupons to use and a conditional spend burning holes in my pocket.

My uncle and his partner were staying with us at the weekend. They bought some stuff in t's yesterday and they don't have a clubcard so he has given me the receipt to get the points added tonight - no t's near them so no point having one

He bought some Garnier after sun and I have a put the receipt in price checker, I know naughty but hoping for £5.18 back :D

Had a strange one today, got a few items today using coupons and when we got to the till the SA went through every coupon and asked us to show her the item.

When it got to the Fairy coupon she said 'its for dishwasher tabs', I said 'no, it states there fairy original 650ml or ........', she kept insisting I was wrong but said 'I'll put it through but I don't think I should'.

Behind us was the MIL, she had the same fairy vouchers. The wife and I started walking out of the store but the MIL told us the SA insisted she could not accept them and called for supervisor who looked and said 'yes they are OK', the SA said 'no its for dishwasher tabs, I only let the gentleman before have them because he was disabled', the supervisor told her to accept them.

I was gob smacked when MIL told us, if I had been within ear shot I would have done my nut but I wasn't. How dare she use my disability as some kind of excuse.

Oh and to wind MIL up even more, the MIL had three tins of spam (on 3 for 2) and two coupons. The SA took the 3rd can of her and said you can't have that as you've only got two coupons. Now how does the SA know if the MIL planned to pay cash for that or not?

Thanks to everyone who post in and manage this thread, I do hope to contribute coupon finds of my own!

Just collected the carer's pack from Boots, was pleasantly surprised to find a 50ml Botanics facial polish, a bottle of 60 vitamin B complex tablets and a sample of Jergens moisturiser within!

A complaint yes, not sure how you would word it though ?

Its a bit naughty but I would make a point of going back to this till when you have MOCs, just to make a point :rotfl:

Went to T's (reluctantly - only because it was next to the Hosp) and actually used no coupons :eek: on a v. small shop (Mullers and carrots!!!).

Then got 3x till spits - £1 off millicano, 50p off any Whiskas cat biscuits, and the pointless £5 off £50 (non food one).

So to remain true to this thread ;) I whipped back round for the Millicano (£3 for the tin - £1 coupon so £2) and small cat biscs (£1.19 - 50p coupon so 69p) :T xx
