Santander's ISA form

I've just got a job so will become a tax payer this month so decided to put some of my savings into an ISA to avoid the tax. So I spent ages this morning comparing ISAs and savings accounts. Decided on a Santander ISA as the interest rate is good for a year and the damn form won't accept my email address. It tells me it's incorrect. Why does it think it knows? So back to the drawing board.

Just a moan really, feel better now.

  • Just make up a quick free e-mail account and put it in. Failing that put in customer.services@santander.co.uk as your e-mail address and change this when the account is open. However they're prob. going to ask you to send ID which can take ages to open the account. So branch is the best bet.

I emailed them about the problem with the form and got a reply saying that they know, it often doesn't work. So they know about it and haven't bothered to fix it. So I opened an ISA with AA instead.
