Is the Link closing down?

Options
I went to get my new phone yesterday and we explained that we were shopping around and the shop (yes it was a large well known store and a competitor) advised us not to bother with the link as they were shutting down in the new year and that the shops are being divided up.

The company who we were dealing with advising that they were buying some of the shops but they won't be honouring the links cashback deals.

Ive always used the Link and never had any problems with them. I know they were owned by Dixons and they no longer have Dixons stores (or at least all the ones near us closed)

Any ideas?

  • DSGi sold The Link to O2. The Link is no longer in business (only online) and all shops are being converted into O2 stores or being sold to other businesses.

I would be very surprised if any deals were'nt honoured as these are usually dealt with by outside companies
