And finally, if you're all still awake ....

    Hello to:

Learning2Budget - wooohoooo to the weight loss and the shrinking dress size, that’s an amazing by product of the NSD challenge, well done you!!!:T
And well done for having some cash left over in your bank account this month, another by product of your NSDs I hope:T

LittleMissHappy - glad your sister is feeling better - it must be a huge relief when those pains stop!! :D Good news that little Willow is doing well. Hope you’ve had a very productive week with OH being away - is was this week, wasn’t it (or am I going completely doolally!!)

marmiterulesok - hope you’re feeling better and managed to get back to work on Wednesday?:A

If - love the pictures, as always, Monday’s was a gem!!
And thanks, I’m fine, really x:A

Wee Pilsbury - I think I need to re-learn the “use up what’s left in the freezer before buying more” mantra as well, going to have to give that a go again:D

kerri - please don’t start off the toilet roll conversation again:rotfl:

Frodo - eeek to your car running out of petrol, I hope you were OK and didn’t have to stop anywhere dangerous?:(

beanie - grrr to the car, what a pain!! And grrrr to the household maintenance spend as well - Monday wasn’t a good day for you, I can see
Well done for the weight loss on Wednesday, that’s brilliant!:T

jaffacakegal - I can see loads of peeps have given you advice about motivation and keeping yourself going. The secret is to find something you really like doing, it’s much easier to stick to that. Once you can see yourself sticking to something your morale picks up and it’s onwards and upwards from there. You’ve done a lot this year so far, unfortunately us humans have a tendency to always remember the bad things, never the good:(....
I have a bum kicking smiley if you need a boot up the bum, just ask:rotfl:

iwanttogoonholiday - don’t give up, you can still get your 3 NSDs:D

jinty - well done on the weight loss, that’s brilliant:T:T
Sorry about the monsoon conditions today and all the tourists...

Cheryl - lots more bargains today!!:T

Phew... that was an update and a half!!

No 20 in the bag for me on Monday, so my target met as well, yay!!!!
No 21 on Tuesday and no 22 today (and I'm not even going to mention the mega-spendy Wednesday:o)

Off to update the front page now, so see you all tomorrow.

    ‘night everyone

Why count DDs going out as spending? It's not as if you had a choice to spend the money.

It's still money that you've spent, whether you want to or not!

You have to count it once anyway.

It helps me focus on when I spend on other stuff, as I try to keep everything to days with D/Debits - and they're spread across the month with only a couple of gaps where I'd almost certainly need fresh food in between as there's a week or more from one D/Debit to the next.

    Hi everyone!

No NSD to report as you know, but I can tell you that the doglet adores the throw I bought yesterday and has commandeerd it! So glad he approves!:rotfl:
Having a quiet one today, off to library to return books and that's about it!

    Thanks for the mega-roundup Spoon!

  • Afternoon all,

Having a lovely lazy day at home with the DC after a manic 10 days of visitors and birthdays and celebrations. Didn't get my planned NSD yesterday as we went out for lunch with our last lot of visitors before they went home. It was so hot here, we went to the park after lunch and lolled on the grass for a couple of hours.

I'm declaring today as NSD 11 as we're watching a movie via lovefilm.com and catching up on some holiday work (little one has more school-issued work than the big one, can't figure that out!). We've got library books to read and plenty of food in. Market day tomorrow so DS can get his comic then.

Back to work for me from 1st, will try and get up earlier to put my 4 hours in before the day gets going for everyone else. I've enjoyed setting the business to one side for a few weeks but it's time to get going again. I have the added advantage of built-in babysitters here so must make good use of this time, have to do a lot of juggling at home in order to get everything done.

Oh, rambling now! Have a lovely day everyone
