    Why thank you Spoony :). I'm trying this thing I used to do - called using up what you have in the freezer already before you buy more :D

    A splendid idea, I must try harder to do the same, largely because I don't have any room for anything else in there... oh and i deff don't need any more tins of beans atm....we have 20 stacked up - and double figures on tinned toms too .... don't get me started on toilet roll either (not that I plan to eat that :rotfl:)

    A small spend day today;

    Mr S - shower creme and dishwaher tabs, both on offer at 1/2 price, plus I got another £1.50 off with coupons PLUS the dishwasher tabs have a money back offer so as long as I do that they'll be free :D

    Sav*rs - Dettol spray on offer for £1 - 50p voucher = 50p :j (same one Mr A had on offer previously)

    Mr T - yoghurt for £1.20 but has a money back offer, plus some pain killers (28p)

    All in all not a bad shop

    Having a total quandry about the taps now, got a quote to have them fitted which is a bit :eek: but it would be far less stressful than doing them myself, plus I also think on one hand I don't smoke, don't spend a fortune on clothes and don't really go out that much. The thing that is stopping me is that it isn't our own place, but then we don't plan to move anytime soon (and if it was our own place it would cost a whole lot more cos it would be a whole new bathroom :rotfl:)

    Evening all. Hope you are all well. Never got a NSD today, car ran out of petrol. It was my fault, as I forgot to get it yesterday.:p

    And I'm into double figures at last, as today was NSD #10 :T

    I was rather late to bed last night (due to surfing the net for over an hour after I got home last night, rather than being a 'dirty stop out' as a friend suggested when I mentioned having had a late night ;)), so while I was in work for the morning part of todays shift all thoughts of 'what do I fancy for tea' resulted in ideas that would have meant spending to get something I could nuke in the micro :o

    So when I came home at lunch time I checked my bank account - and as no D/Debits went out today I gave myself a stern talking to about the need to retain today as an NSD if I want any chance of making target this month. And I managed to make it out past all the Whoopsies when my shift finally ended at 5pm ;)

    Had a great time yesterday evening - and I did indeed get the steak I'd been promised.... yum, YUM :D Have to say he's not a bad cook (ok, ok, he's pretty good ;)), and although it's the first time I've had steak with new potatoes, cauli, brocolli and sprouts (as well as a cheese filled flat mushroom and creamy peppercorn sauce) rather than chips/jacket, peas, sweetcorn, mushrooms, tomatoes and onion rings (with the option of a sauce) it was very nice :) He'd even made a real effort to not turn my veg into a totally mushy mess (the way he likes it) as we've had a couple of fairly heated (but light-hearted) debates about the merits of mush versus al-dente.

It could be that or asking Nargle if Igor is about....:eek:
