Jinty - a huge SORRY from me. Having a cat in the family myself, I can understand how much love was given and received between you. You cared for him, gave him a good life and, when it was his time to leave, ensured he left in comfort and with dignity. Some would say he is now playing in the fields beyond Rainbow Bridge - not familiar with that one myself but it is a beautiful thought.

Now, on a NSD note, having been kept out of mischief on night shift and in bed half of today, I can proudly report my revised total of 9 NSDs!!!! three quarters of the way there.....

I'm here.... Tardis all cleaned out .. that took a while!!:eek:

Igor sponged down :eek: and Hubert steam cleaned and with industrial sized nappy on:eek:.

I think we're ready to go... kerri, stand by, will be there in two seconds...

Scene: a deserted back passage in Spoonville. A retro blue police telephone box stands at the end, the blue paint slightly dusty and faded. Silence but for the sound of distant traffic, birds singing, dogs barking. Nargleblast approaches cautiously, humunguous great raincoat (a la Inspector Clouseau), collar turned up, dark glasses on, looking and listening out for signs of life, human or otherwise......an eerie glow emanates from the light at the top of the police box. Nargle bends down to a plant pot full of bright red geraniums by the door of the box, feels underneath the pot and fishes out a large brass door key. The door is unlocked, it creaks open to reveal a freshly spring cleaned interior - even the flying ducks on the wall have a new coat of paint. The CD player is playing Moon River at full volume, Igor and Hubert are at the table playing strip Snakes and Ladders (get to a ladder, climb up. Get to a snake, slide down and guess what?) Igor is down to his second best pair of underpants and his third best string vest. He is sporting a new tightly-curled hairdo as a result of Spoon's steam cleaning frenzy earlier today. Hubert also has a curly coat that resembles a Pomeranian crossed with a French poodle.

Igor jumps up to pour a glass of his freshly-brewed moonshine. As Nargleblast accepts the drink gratefully, takes off the raincoat to reveal a lurex frock with big silver stars and moons all over it, pours the drink down her throat then stops and thinks......WHERE IS SPOON?????? (Cue Jaws music...)

Ah there you are, Spoonbabes! In the bathroom as usual I see, why does it take you so long to get ready? Yes I will have another shot of moonshine, Igor......oh hello, kerri, didn't see you behind the aspidistra there, now you haven't been cheating these boys out of their pocket money, have you? Didn't you tell them you were Strip Snakes and Ladders Champion in 1998?

Looks like there's a busload of NSD gang members coming over the horizon, I hope we've got enough moonshine, Igor! And hopefully Dragon has got several trays of canapes ready for the ravenous hordes! Spoon, where's the tin opener in this place?
