Hi all
I currently have one car, but want to purchase a second for commuting to work. Can I insure two cars in my name and if so, which are the best insurance companies
Many thanks
Ian

You can insure as many cars as you want in your name, you might want to try companies that offer multi car policys such as aviva or direct line.0

Suggest you try your existing company first, as if you are going to be the only driver on both policies they may be willing to reflect any no claims on the second policy.
Different scenario if each policy has more than the policyholder as the driver, as the insurers may suspect fronting is going on and rate on the youngest.0 -
Aviva give a 15% discount if you have two policies in the household with them. For me and hubby that comes out cheaper than the Admiral multicar policies or anything else.0
