I doubt you'd be able to safeguard every single penny, but let's say you put half into shares, commodities, property and a swimmingpool's worth of champagne etc. You'd then have, say, £80m in cash. There must be a few hundred banks around globally so you'll *only* be risking a few hundred thousand in a single bank I reckon.

You'll just have to buy one less yacht that year :)

    £156 million hmmmm.

£20mil - "Splash out investing", by buying biggish stakes in companies I love
£30mil - give away to friends and family
    £30mil - charity
    £1mil - cars
    £1mil - house
£Xmil - a night with Rosie Jones and Lucy Pinder (no idea how much they'd charge)
The Rest - invest over different investments to provide income

Some folks with their winnings would open Reward accounts with the Halifax to switch £1000 each month so they can get an extra £5...........

It probably costs more for a night in the average Premier Inn. Just say "Hello I'm from the Daily Star" and you're golden.

£1m on cars I could do in one go - Bugatti Veyron.

Property -several million easily. I'd like a penthouse overlooking the Thames with outlook on St. Pauls and up towards House of Commons, then I would like one down in Cornwall with sea views and another with outlook over the lake district.

    If only!

Yeh I wouldn't want the "multi millionaire lifestyle" such as fast cars and big houses, just the women part.

Id hope Halifax would upgrade me from having a crappy Visa Electron lol..

I dont think I'd go for Rosie Jones personally....Peta Todd would be one, pretty sure you could get Paris Hilton (if you wanted to) just by offering her a bag or something...for her dog...or her head...
