Switching supplier - when will standing charge commence?
Decided to switch to EDF Fixed Saver v2 during May and not far from point of submitting meter readings. According to "My Account" with EDF, supply with them started 22/5/11 - which is about the time I submitted paperwork and start of cooling off period.
Does this mean that I will be paying EDF their a daily standing charge from 22/5/11 even though my final meter reading will not be until circa 6 July?
My expectation was that old suppliers would be billing up until date of final reading and EDF thereafter and that daily EDF standing charge would be from date of final reading.
Can anyone confirm when standing charge will be payable from?

It'll be from the actual switchover date - I'm moving to EDF and I noticed that the supply start date was showing as the date I applied on line (before the cooling off period)-presumably the website is wrong!!0
