How long do Royal Mail take to refund missing item case?

Without checking, I think it was May (possibly even end of April) when I filled out the claim forms. I've still not heard anything back.

Is this normal? Just wondering if they've lost my claim forms!!

too many comps..not enough time!

I find that it takes 2 to 3 weeks usually

It's been known to take months. I've never claimed, but I've heard some claims take longer than others because RM sometimes send out forms to the recipient for their evidence as to whether the item really did never arrive.

Soo might be able to help.

My last claim was made in January and it took about 6 -7 weeks before I got the refund cheque. However I suspect it was a very busy period for them .

In the past I have had a high percentage of lost claim forms within Royal mail, which is why keeping full copies of everything is always recommended

Mine have taken 3 weeks to 8 weeks. Several have been rejected - but all won on appeal.

Thanks everyone. Am concerned now and wondering if I will be able to another claim, it relates to a lost ebay sale which was in March. I can't find that sale in my ebay history now though.

Didn't think RM would lose their own claim forms!! I didn't even think to keep a copy of the ebay details :(

I think you can download the details from your Paypal.

I submitted a claim on 2nd May for around £70 but so far no response.
It does say it takes up to 90 day so I guess I should be patient ??
