Dear all

fixed deal has come to an end so looking to switch again - BUT may be moving in a few months time. If the best deal out there is a 12/24 month contract, what happens if I move in 6 months?

thanks

From experience I have found that when moving you are not tied to the contract and therefore exit fees are waived.

This info should be in the Q&A section of the energy supplier you are considering.

When you move you initially register with the previous inhabitants supplier and you are then free to move as soon as you like.

You cannot transfer your existing tariff to the new address.

Correct, a home move allows you to void your contract.

Also avoid Npower as they pay their discounts after 12 months, move in six and you'll get nothing
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
