In search of mediocrity ...

... then this would appear to be the site for it.

In their infinite wisdom the MSE team have deemed a contribution I have made worthy of a " yellow card " because " it might cause an argument. "

The fact that this would be one of the key features of a proper overseas travel forum with a spirited debate between consenting adults appears lost on them.

Instead of using its considerable power and influence to try to change issues in the travel industry which actually affect people MSE seem to prefer the banal and anodyne as an easier path in which to make money through its affiliated travel links.

However this is just my own view and I'd hate anyone to come on here with an opposing one in case I'm accused of " causing an argument. "

Perhaps we should just stick to endless posts about " is it cheaper to buy fags in Spain " or " what I did on my holidays from the moment I arrived at the airport. "

Me ? I'm off to Lonely Plant for a while where posters are not treated like complete simpletons.

Perhaps just back up your statements with clear and concise reasoning.

It just reduces the risk of getting a card in the first place.

Even the worlds greatest footballer, Messi occasionally oversteps the mark and gets a "yellow card"
Sometimes you need to break the rules, be bad + take one for the team.
He, shrugs his shoulders, dusts himself down and just gets on with it, playing perfect football most of the time. He doesnt spit the dummy out and say hes not playing again.

Just appreciate the rules, although they are not perfect, they are for the benefit of all

Not much offends me, but others may be overly sensitive.
The other thing to consider, is that forum owners can be held responsible for libellous comments, posted by members.
Also consider, If you get too many slaps then you are clearly hanging out in the wrong place.
