A & L business account - preferential morgage rate?

Not sure if this would be better here or in bank accounts.
My parents bank with Alliance & Leicester/Santander and they've told me that if you have a business account with them you get 20% off your morgage rate. Can anyone confirm this? Also does anyone know if this is for new morgages only or if existing ones with them (as we have) can be discounted?
