Hi, I have broadband accounts with both O2 & BT at separate properties, for some reason my O2 setup allows incoming btinternet.com emails but does not allow me to send them using my btinternet.com address.
Is there any way I can change the O2 settings so this can be done, if so would you be kind enough to explain it in a blow by blow basic manner as I am a Luddite.

You need to change your settings to send btinternet mail via the O2 SMTP server - I use relay.o2broadband.co.uk In general you can only access SMTP servers associated with the broadband service you are using.0

It's a standard anti-spam measure, no ISP will allow you to do that for outgoing emails. Incoming does not matter. No free lunch, and no free laptop
