depends what type of plastering you want to undertake in your house.
IF you want to float your walls i.e. apply a backing coat then apply a finish coat theres no way you will learn that in a few weeks , it took me years [4 yr apprentice] to learn it.doing a course tho will give you an idea of the basics involved. if your walls require just a re-skim, rather than going to a college course i would contact british gypsum, they produce the plaster in the uk.[they have a good web site], they do various courses where you can learn the basics.0 -
I am just thinking about doing a 10 week Introduction to Plastering Course its cost £270 does that seem like a reasonible price ?
I tought I would so the course to see if I was any good at it and to learnthe basics. I am mainly interested in being able to skim walls."The time is always right to do what is right"0
