Bathroom Floor Conundrum

I am trying to plan a makeover for my bathroom but the very first stage has got me stumped.

I would like vinyl flooring laid - at the moment it's bare floorboards, some of which are rotten due to leaking bath. Obviously some of these will need replacing and the floor boarded before the vinyl goes down. Does the bathroom suite need to be taken out for this to be done? The suite will be replaced but at the moment i can't afford to get it all done at once.

Also, what sort of tradesman do i need to do the boarding? I'm presuming the vinyl layer won't do this?

TIA.

If you are having the suite replaced, get the floor overboarded after the old suite comes out and before the new one goes in. This means that you don't have to be cutting round the loo, basin etc. You only have to take the overboarding up to the edge of the bath.

You could ask the plumber to do it, or a handyman could do it.
