My Royal mail postman isn`t much better, he often posts a " your parcel was tried to be delivered" card through the door when i`m actually in. I have caught him up the street a few seconds later with no parcel for me (he leaves them in the sorting office)
I agree that it may be that the city link guy has too many parcels and it is not his fault, but then again he might be just a lazy liar like my postie !!!!
BTW, i`m still waiting for my boys Wii, that was suppost to be delivered today, won't get this till the 27th now
Rant over

Well seeing as there is no way this is arriving on time I emailed Amazon and after asking 3 times if I could refuse delivery and I would be credited the full amount at no cost to myself I finally got an answer of yes.
I reckon I will be the only person refusing a Wii this year :rotfl:0 -
I didn't order a Wii from Amazon. I did order a couple of Everybody's Golf from The Link, which was sent out using DHL. They were delivered on Friday at around 10:30 and signed for by me (according to the DHL website). Strange one this, as I was out all day Friday, not arriving back home until around 11pm. I would be angry now had the driver nicked my games. However, he didn't...he saw I wasn't in and rather than take them back to the depot, he signed my name and stuck the parcel through the letterbox. Good if I need an alibi, though, as according to DHL, I was at home at 10:30am on Friday. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Yes, City Link lie all the time. If you've had City Link deliver to you just once, they note down the colour of your door. After that, if they fail to call in future deliveries, they simply look up the previous transactions and claim they've been by telling you the colour of your door.
Coincidentally, these are the same occasions where they don't leave a card. Amazing coincidence!

I have had Citylink change their mind about the colour of my door from one day to the next! In Northern Ireland they are an absolute joke.0

I agree with the above. We finally got our wii on the 27th... City LINK driver said that tried to deliver to ours and left a card (which he didnt) and we have a white door..... I can safely say the 99% of all doors on our estate are WHITE and so are most of every one elses.. They are a complete joke. We have recieved £8.99 back from amazon for CITY LINK failing to deliver WOW.... That nop compensation for my Boys not have thier Wii on Xmas Day:mad:AMO wrote:Yes, City Link lie all the time.
