Did it come via Royal Mail or another delivery company?If it was another delivery company maybe they also do collections as well and could pick it up from you direct.

the 7 days only refers to the time you have to inform them that you are sending the item back. Once you have informed them of the return (within 7 days of receiving) then you can return in a reasonable time.
