Parking Appeal

I recently recieved a parking fine of £100 reduced to £65 from Central Ticketing, a private firm. The fine was for parking in a disabled bay. Although i understand the reasoning of this fine, i am a student and decided it would be worthwhile to appeal the fine as its a hefty amount to pay in a one off payment!! anyway, so as you can guess my appeal was rejected. Just wondering if there is anyway i can appeal to have the fine reduced, as if it had been a council area, the fine would be £60 reduced to £30. I also find it unfair that the company gave me my fine at 4.30am, a time which gives no one any chance to fix their mistake!! If i cant get it reduced, is it worthwhile to ignore it even though i have already admitted my mistake in the appeal letter, or will they have more success in chasing me up for the fine since it was in a disabled bay?
Any advice would be Great

Two things you need to be clear about:
1) There is no fine. Private companies have no powers to fine anybody, they can ask for money but you don't have to pay them unless a court decides you do, which is unlikely in the extreme.
2) There is no appeal. They aren't going to turn away the chance to fleece an un- clued up mug of his hard-earned. Asking them to reduce/cancel the amount is like asking a knife-wielding mugger at Waterloo station not to take cash from your wallet.
Have a read around the hundreds of postings on this forum, and take the advice to completely ignore them.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Ignore them its a speculative invoice asking you to pay. Declined their invitation.
However please don't park in disabled bays unless you have a disability. This is half the reason these parasites infest carparks because they tell the landlords their bays are being abused. Although at 4.30am I don't think there would be too many people about looking for parking bays.
Have a look here to see what you will probably receive. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2214803 besides all their threats the chances of them ever going near a court are next to zero.0
