hitachi dvd camcorder help please

im looking for a battery charger for my dvd camcorder but cant find one anywhere!!!!iv tried ebay but there no good as although they charge the battery they dont have the right adapter socket to enable me to plug the batter thats connected to a wire so u can use camcorder whist charging it(it confused me too!) i need this to enable me to finalise the disc,iv tried hitachi but seem to get nowhere!!thanku.xxx
