    The trouble is, even a close postcode could be different so you need to use the actual one. They insist that you choose a registered address from the list (you can't make up a non-existant house), so you are effectively applying at your neighbors address. This might get them mail from the companies, or even show up on their insurance record. Given that they have the reg number of your car (or at least the exact details and colour) I'd be wary of this.
