in Credit cards
Long story cut short, I have terrible credit ! Have been declined pretty much every card on the market including Vanquis (I know I know !).
I'm now trying to rebuild my credit, However noone will give me that opertunity except payday loan companies !
Basically, I was wondering if there where any secured Credit card options available in the UK or for UK Residents ?
It seems there are hundreds of secured cards in the US, Is this not a good market opertunity for a company in the UK ?
Thanks !

Thanks, But i'm not after a Prepaid card, Got 1 already, And i defiantly am not paying £60 for some company to place a few marks on my file, I might as well just purchase a cheap pay monthly sim deal and pay that off every month........' Yeah, if no lender will give you a chance with a credit card I guess only showing you can handle your credit elsewhere will start to build your credit score back up.
Hope you manage to get everything sorted outDavid

maybe tell us what your credit records actually say
facts are always useful0 -
I once sent Wells Fargo a message through their website asking if I could have a secured credit card even althought I live in the UK and to my surprise they said yes. There are extra forms to fill in something about tax withholding that I did not understand and you have to prove your identity but it will not improve your credit record here and your credit limit is equal to your security deposit. If you have enough for a security deposit you could possible settle some of your debts and get a prepaid card that reports positive information to a credit reference agency along with a basic bank account that does the same thing and a 30 day rolling SIM for say £10 per month, again more green marks on your credit report.
