Need help with Epson R220

got an epson r220 and it has stopped feeding the paper through, tried everything but still wont do it, prints dvds ok. Any ideas, i can return it but need to get another one and have looked all over for one on the net and all discontinued unless has an idea where i can get one for under 65 quid.

How long have yo had it? I notice on Epson site they have a deal for money off a new printer if still under warranty have a look on Epson.co.uk site

It could be that some small piece of paper is jammed in the mechanism.

I have checked there is no paper in there and it still dosnt seem to want to work. But it has to a friends printer also and we were both using the same matt photo paper when it packed in, was wondering if that had anything to do with it.
Epson exchange thing looks ok but i cant get a r220 i bet, but will try tomoz to ring them in manchester.
It is just under warrantry till jan just cant find reciept but asda are ok but havnt got any in to change it with anyway. Dont really want to get another model as i have got a lot inks for this model.

"Hi Andy, the only time you get a flashing light on JUST the paper feed button is if you have paper jammed (or something else) in the feed, double check that nothing has remained in the feed and also that the CD/DVD tray is fully closed (open and close it a few times)and press the paper feed button after. It might not be a physical printer problem at all, check that you have selected the correct tray in the driver settings.
