Can I get marks of vinyl matt painted walls?

I recently moved into a third floor flat with my two year old and then (without thinking) updated my sofa. On the way upstairs the feet have slightly marked the wall. I have got almost all of them off carefully with a damp cloth, but my downstairs neighbours are still angry. There is sort of four less than inch long marks left and I'm too scared to scrub at them. Is there any other way to get it clean?
I'm on my own and any advice would be gratefully received!

Ordinary Matt paint isn't really scrubbable. You'll end up lifting the paint off. You would be better finding out what the colour is and giving it a touch up.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Turps would possibly work. Or touch is up. get a tester pot for £3 of the right colour0

Get a "magic sponge". They sometimes have them in ASDA, defo in wilkinson and Robert Dyas. White sponge, break off a piece and wet takes marks off any paint work a treat. I use it all the time on my walls and furniture.0
