I booked a luxury plus break for 6 people with the sun at haggerston castle. The price I paid for my break I could have got the same deal on this site........so although not every site will offer the same bargains, there are bargains to be had for some.....
My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and it's price competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.

Hi, just wondering if any MSE'ers out there that have been to france - the one near disneyland - if you could tell me roughly how much it would all cost? My dream has alway's been to take my kids, but hubby not so keen  doesn't like foreign countries (although he's never been :rotfl:), so need to have all info to bombard him with!!

I know some of you save up your clubcard voucher's for the euro tunnel, could i use them for the ferry? as I think that would be the way we would travel.

Also how much would Disney land be to get in?

I hope someone can help me out, thanks in advance :T

    Hi
we have been to Le Chene Gris once and La Croix Du Vieux Pont 3 times...

    it's £9.50 x 4 people = £38
    then £6 ( approx) service charge per night x 4 ( or 3 for fri - mon) = £24
    then £15 insurance damage waiver
    FREE entertainments passes

    = £77 for Mon - Fri ( 4 nights) for family of 4 ! :money:
eurotunnel is much better / easier than ferry ! but if you did want to go by ferry you can get some good deals eg return for £50

for tickets we either use Tesco clubcard deals or get the day hoppers with 15% off
we have in the past bought annual passes too ( when our youngest was eligible for the free one!)

all the Disney info you need can be found here : http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=77

Be prepared to spend plenty of money at Disney. Very expensive. IMO not worth it.....rather save and do Disney Florida.

La Croix du Vieux Pont is an 1 - 1 1/2 hours away from Disney depending on the traffic.

Thanks, I think France is our best option, We've never been abroad before, so would have to factor in passports as well, so maybe a trip would be quite some time away yet, but thank you both for your help.

Disneyland Paris doesn't have to be expensive.... all of our trips have been "budget" ones as it's never our main holiday

by staying offsite and with the SUN holidays you are already saving loads of £'s!
use tesco deals for tickets & travel

bring your own snacks & drinks into the parks ,and pack the car up with food etc to take with you
don't buy many souvenirs etc in the shops ( if the kids want dressing up costumes buy in the UK before you go !)
eat at the cheaper restaurants / counter service restaurants

Just a few eating tips for Disneyland Paris as it is very very expensive to eat there. You're supposedly not allowed to bring your own food in but we always have albeit discreetly
If you have time - outside the gates is the railway station - catch the local train to Val D'Europe - 3 minutes away €2 return. It's a huge shopping mall with an Auchan Hypermarket there. We buy cheese, crisps, french sausage, pop, fruit etc - saves loads. Also a large food court with many different cheap eateries like Crepes & a buffet.
If you are on site - either go to McDonalds just outside gates behind Planet Hollywood (I know it's McDs but when money is tight..) or inside station entrance on left is a shop selling made up baguettes at reasonable prices & a cafe

If all else fails - read the instructions...
