I haven't been to Lakeland but I understand that this is a quieter site with not as much in the way of entertainment as Haggerston Castle has. I suppose it depends on what you are wanting out of your holiday, if you are looking for outdoor walks and things like that and a quieter site then I would say Lakeland, if you were happy to spend your time all on the site then Haggerston may be a good choice.
We have been to Haggerston 3 or 4 times now and have always enjoyed it, the pool was improved recently and was very clean. Holy Island is close by and worth a visit, but beware of the tide times!0 -
Regarding pets, just copied this from The Sun FAQ's :
Unfortunately, number 19 of the terms and conditions clearly state that we are unable to accept pets through the promotion. Some Holiday Parks may accept pets, although this is at their discretion, and will be shown on your holiday confirmation. The park will request additional payment for pets.
If the Holiday Park you are allocated does not accept pets, we are unable to amend or cancel your holiday.0
