Plug in Timer's - How much electric do they use

Options
I'm looking at putting some of our lights and storage heaters onto Timers, lights come on in the afternoon, storage heaters at night etc.
I just wondered how much electric the timer unit itself uses, and will it make a big difference to my electric bill

Any help much appreciated :)
Looking to raise some money ;)

the analogue (round dial) ones, power one small motor, very small amount. The digital ones (lcd display) nearly/completely nothing*

*depending if they use their own battery as backup or main source.

They should always save money swiching things off, not cost you more!

They use so little power it is not even worth thinking about. Probably a watt or two at most. In other words, a dozen of them will still use less juice in total than one small light bulb.

They should make a big difference to you electricity bill as it should go down as they will help you reduce your overall usage though I am not sure how long it will take to save enough money to cover their costs.

There is some value in a home appearing occupied when everyone is out though. Lights, radio etc.
