Google problems

Just want to make sure that it's not our equipment. Having problems getting into google. At times it comes up Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. Internet is very slow as well. Same on the laptop. Just wondering is anyone else having problems?

It's not Google that's the problem, it's probably IE.

I'm a recent convert to Mozilla FireFox, try that, or Google Chrome.

Most likely your equipment - can you access other major sites like bbc.co.uk?

If not, then try rebooting your internet modem/router - that usually does the trick when my internet slows down.

If both of your computers are connected to the same router then, unless your ISP is having problems, then the fault must lie with the router or your phoneline.

As suggested above, try rebooting the router.

If that fails and you have another network available (possibly a neighbour with an unsecured network), try connecting to that for a few moments and see if the problem is solved - if so, it is your router/line. In fairness, uncouple from the neighbour's network as soon as you have decided what the problem is!
