Praise for DVLA

I'm always ranting, so I thought praise was in order.

Sent my D1 to the DVLA with some original documents for a name change.

4 DAYS later the documents returned and 5 DAYS after posting my updated driving licence arrived! Someone been feeding them Red Bull at the DVLA?!

THANKS DVLA :D:D

When I had to change the tax class of my new (second hand) car from disabled to private car, they were very helpful, friendly and efficient at the local office - I thought their service was excellent considering the rap they sometimes get.

Me too, I've always found them very good be it by post, on the phone, or in person at my local office (Chester). For a government office they seem to be pretty well organised.

I was very happy with them when I passed my driving test. Was told it would be 3 weeks before I got my license back- 5 days later it arrived :)

Dont get me started on the DVLA! LOL

I just want a refund on a tax disc but it seems you have to jump through lots and lots of hoops and work out the red herrings from the trouts that advise you differently to the last person!!

Wouldnt it be lovely to say "never using them again" but alas I cant.
