Morpheus problem

My friend is trying to get rid of Morpheus and he has the logo with red cross on it at bottom right of screen, which says "active" if mouse hovers on it.
Clicking on it won't do anything, and he can't uninstall it as it says it's still running
He has been getting the error messages, I've had those but have just clicked don't send and it's been ok
He just want to uninstall it
Any ideas?
