    I am not a 'needy folk'. I am a qualified experienced professional and if you (the tax payer) dont pay me the going rate to work for you, I wont. I will come and find another job. What if that job is yours?

    You are paying me to leave you alone.

    That is, IF, you were able to get another job, i.e. compete against those already looking for the best jobs, many of whom will have far more relevant experience and qualifications.

    But I thought with my overly high salary and absurdly generous pension I already have one of the "best jobs", everyone else had the same opportunity to apply for it that I did. And in fact 98 other people did.

    You lot need to make your minds up.
