Anyone used 4 Deck lounge at Birmingham Airport?

Have seen some reviews online but not many. Just really wanted to know what extras you get thrown in?

Going to be there for 2 hours so if it's a couple of cups of coffee and also a couple of beers then that will be well worth it. Also can't find any details on what is available at the food counter in the morning :)

  • Hi Doooford, when are you travelling? I haven't used it before but I am when I fly out on weds 6th. I am going for a week so will be able to report back then if thats any good. However a colleague used 4 deck at birmingham about 1 month ago and said it was worth it, she advised me that she had lots of wine and her hubby had lager and there were lots of soft drinks in small cans available and also lots of snacks including crisps, biscuits etc.

Good morning da666shooker. It's the 15th that I'm going out on. Would really appreciate such an up to date experience report as it's really hard to get a comprehensive review on line.
Would really appreciate that. Hope you have a fantastic break!! :)
  • Hi

I am happy to anounce that we were very pleased with the 4 deck lounge at Birmingham Airport. It was definatley worth doing and we will definately be doing it again, we had a 730am flight and we were in the lounge at 6am and there were only two others so it was quite quiet. There were lots of items available; cans of lager, bottles of spirits, cans of soft drinks, bottles of wine, bottles of water. Snacks included biscuits, crisps, cheese, crackers, basically everything you could want. There is a screen with flight details, however do be careful as they do not have an announcement speaker in the lounge so you have to keep an eye on the time....we looked up at the screen to realise we were at final call for boarding! Theres also plenty of papers and magazines to read.

as soon as you walk in there is a man sat at a desk, we just had to hand our lounge confirmation to him and that was that, it was very clean and tidy.

myself and OH have decided that based on this experience we are now going to use a lounge everytime we go away.

    Have a lovely holiday.

Agreed. Absolutely essential from now on. Had a few Gin and tonics before boarding and watched the NOTW scandal unfold on large SkyNews screen.

Flight was delayed and stayed in lounge for 3 hours in total. We had cheese and biscuits along with wine and G+T until boarding time. Fantastic start to the holiday. Very relaxed surroundings.

The bar is serve yourself as opposed to the ServisAir lounge which is a manned bar. So if you prefer a good measure of gin then go for 4deck where you prepare your own drinks ;)
There is ice and chilled lemon slices as well.
