DSR is good for the consumer, but retailers will see it differently. They may see you as a serial returner and not want you as a customer any more.

You can, within reason, but the retailer also reserves the right to deal with whomever they see fit and it looks like they no longer want your custom.

I seem to remember someone once saying that a tv shopping channel closed down their account, because they returned too many items, even though the channel has a try for 30 days and send it back if not completely satisfied policy.

Amazon and any other retailers can choose who they do business with, for whatever reason. I closed down my account with them a few years back because of their poor customer support.

Sounds to me like you've had too many returns and problems, so they've decided it's just easier to close your account, as they probably categorise you as a high risk customer!
