Help - BA Amex Platinum or Tesco Platinum to maximise Airmiles?

Hi All
My wife and I have a BA Plat Amex card - meaning we get 1.5 BA Airmiles for every £1 spent. Is the Tesco Finest Platinum Card (the old type) better i.e if we swtich our spending onto it, would we get more BA airmiles from it as you can swop your clubcard points for BA miles! I knwo you get 1 tesco clubcard point for every £2 spent, and more if you shop a lot in Tesco (which we do!). Help!!!!!!!!!!:j
