    Well, just thought I'd report back, assuming people are still reading this thread!!

    Halifax Clarity card received yesterday, so just over 2 weeks from initial online application, which is pretty good. I also got the 12.9% APR and a very good credit limit, so all's well there.

    One minor gripe though. I want to operate it exclusively online via internet banking. I deplore the idea of sending pieces of paper around in the post in this information technology age, especially when sensitive banking details are printed on those pieces of paper. I therefore registered for online banking, but rather than the 5 minutes they claim it takes to register, they are going to send the password on a piece of paper in the post :mad: which could take 7 days to arrive.

    Otherwise, jolly good show!
