Zoopla SOLD History Wrong..

Hi

I know people talk about the guesstimate price been wrong.
But beware our house which is on the market , has the historic sold totally wrong.
Price for a totally different house in a different year. Problem is the house price is £50,000 out , so we hope this hasn't affected people wanting to view our property.

So agree with everybody else .. Zoopla is a good fun tool, but very inaccurate .. Better to use rightmove and see the actual house prices by # and date.

Via, our estate agents they accept it is a bug in their software but not sure when they will fix it. I can't find any disclaimer on there, can I report to any body or financial institution ? They offered to pull the house from the website, as that is the only option availabl ! !!!
Has anybody had this problem ?

Zoopla know about the problem and are supposedly fixing it.
My issue is there are no words on the website the information displayed could be wrong.. some people might believe information the website as been true and accurate which it aint.

I would want to check that land registry had recorded the correct price.

Best option is to take up zoopla on the offer to pull the listing. I am sure that there are some who take it as definitive, but there probably are not too many who do. And I doubt that there are many who won't view because of a zoopla listing - the point at which zoopla is most likely to be taken into account is when composing an offer, I would think. So you could always point out the error to viewers.

The other site to check is http://www.houseprices.co.uk/.

Nothing worng with land registry we aren't on there - which is where the problem comes I think !
Zoopla just totally mismatched the land registry to the address - muppets!
Yeh - we only spotted it recently and house been on the market a while, we told the last people who viewed but they hadn't used zoopla anyway.

    It doesn't matter at all.

A house is worth what someone will pay for it not what zoopla thinks.

Our road is all total twaddle.

Zoopla reckoned one house was worth £374,000

    Sold for 1.2 million.

They reckon ours is worth less than next door- ours has both a building plot and a garden- theirs has a yard. Both are estimated at laughable sums.

It's all rubbish. Just laugh and move on.

Most people know that, I am sure. But there are still some who believe it because it is on the internet. OP has a justified concern
