Investec 5 Year Inflation Linked Bond

Just received an email from Investec about a new account they are offering.

Clearly, no where near as good as the NS&I IL saving certs, but perhaps worth considering for those who have more to save.

In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

Good for non-taxpayers. For the rest of us it's a shame they don't offer an ISA option.0

KRBS have another 5-year inflation-linked Cash ISA offering. Yorkshire BS also have two offerings (both of which are ISA-able), but these will only pay a maximum or RPI - but could work out better if you believe that RPI will fall.... soon... substantially...Living for tomorrow might mean that you survive the day after.
It is always different this time. The only thing that is the same is the outcome.
Portfolios are like personalities - one that is balanced is usually preferable.

Then the non-taxable YBS offering would merely keep pace with RPI rather than beat it.Living for tomorrow might mean that you survive the day after.
