Tesco Clothing.

I've wondered for a while if it was just me but I thought the quality of Tesco clothing was rapidly going downhill. I used to buy loads for my kids when they were smaller but not now. Used to be great quality a few years ago.

I was at Customer Services today returning some socks I wasn't happy with, the person in front of me was having a bit of a rant to the lady on the till about an item of clothing then turned to me to say sorry but this is why she hated buying clothes in Tesco?! then the person to the side of me was complaining too. I realise people are probably less than happy if they're at Customer Services but it was a bit of an eye-opener!

I much much prefer Sainsburys clothing now so I hope they don't go the same way as Tesco!

I have to agrre, i don't think it's as good as it used to be. Also, they've cut down on the range for older girls, my DD is 9, but there was not alot for her this summer.

I live just outside London and my nearest clothing stocking Tesco has a decidedly Easter European theme to their clothing, it's very odd, they have stuff in there I never see in any other stores.

I don't know about the kids stuff but the womens have, in my opinion, got much better. Got a lovely dress and coat from there the other day. And the staff are nice and helpful too :)

How does the quality of their clothing compare to someone like Primark?

Some of it is about the same, some bits are much better, but the better bits are getting fewer. I've seen some really ropey stuff in there recently.

I got a lovely top in Tesco about 4 weeks ago. It had a band of beading around the top. First time I wore it it becand obvious the beading went around far enoght to rub on the inside of the top of my arm.
It was so annoying and really sore, everytime you moved the beads rubbed into my arm.
It was taken back and a refund given, it looked like a lovely top though.
