But then how does she use up the rest of the stuff? I think it would be a good experiment to try it with puff pastry. That's how new ideas are invented!
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I do mine in one of those 6"Square pie tins. You can use pyrex dishes too though. One big one will use less pastry as you only have one lot of sides instead of 4. I mix my cheese in with the eggs. The more milk you put in,the softer the filling will be.
I bake it for about 25 -30 mins on 180 in the electric fan oven.0 -

thats what I thought too!
As the only quiche I had was made with shortcrust pastry ( tescos I think) and it wasnt pleasant- I think I'll give puff pastry a whirl!
If its foul then the'll go to the bin probably, which is where the iongredients were headed anyway- if theyre good Ill add this to the indexed collection!! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Make the quiche part separately in a dish. Or make cheesey egg turnovers like those dreadful things they sell in petrol stations.Bogof_Babe wrote:But then how does she use up the rest of the stuff? I think it would be a good experiment to try it with puff pastry. That's how new ideas are invented!
