Ebay SNAD Timeline?

I Opened a NAD case over a faulty laptop i bought from eBay which turned out to be faulty.
It's since been 10 days with no reply to either the case or my eBay messages. Does anyone know/understand the eBay process?
Apparently they have until 03 August to resolve the case and I'm really not happy about waiting all that time for a refund
As I've paid via paypal with a credit card will the C/C be any help?
Any help welcome!

Can you escalate to a claim now do be careful & read it properly before you close it as you can't re-open it if you close it without asking for a refund.
Hopefully it won't happen again to you but Paypal disputes are always recommended on here as they are more clear cut.
I've just taken this from the help pages,
If someone opens a case with you, it's important to respond quickly and work with your trading partner to resolve the problem. Most issues have a window for when you can open cases, be credited for certain fees or be eligible for buyer protection. You'll receive this information when you file a case.
If you've had a problem with your purchase, contact us so that we can help.
You'll need to wait at least 3 days after the estimated delivery date or 7 days after payment if you weren't given an estimated delivery date
You have up to 45 days after you paid to file a case
The seller has up to 10 days to respond to your case
If your issue hasn't been resolved, you should ask customer support for help within 30 days of opening the case. If eBay doesn't hear from you in 30 days, the case is automatically closed. Once your case has been closed by you or by eBay, it can't be reopened.
So best to get onto ebay saying that you want a refund, they may pay for the return.0
