I find people in general in the area I live are quite rude but thats London for you, I always say please and thank and thank you and some times feel in the minority. Went on holiday to the Isle of Wight a couple of weeks ago and got a shock at how polite everyone there was, random people would just come and say good morning and some would linger a little bit in a doorway in case I was coming through with my buggy.0
