MFI Bathroom Suite

We ordered a bathroom suite from MFI and every item was slightly damaged. Another bathroom suite was delivered, this time okay, but the first delivery was not collected. Eventually I phoned and asked them to collect - I need the space in the garage! Collection was arranged for 13th December but on the 10th had a call to say they had problems and they may be able to collect the following week or failing that, sometime after Christmas. I insisted on collection before Christmas or I'd have to put the suite outside. Collection was then promised for 20th December. Still no sign of them. Can I dispose of it?

This is a familiar story
We had the same when we had to have a worktop replaced with MFI
Write to the CEO and ask him for his permission to dispose of it on their behalf at no cost to them as their collection system is letting you down badly.
If they approve then give it to Lisa, or offer it on Freecycle.orgBehind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
I'll try that. If and when I get a reply, I'll get in touch with you Lisa.

Write to them insisting that they collect within 7 days or you will charge them storage of £10 per day afterwards and if they then do not collect within a further 7 days you will dispose of the goods.
Even if you don’t follow through with disposal it might hurry them up.
Send the letter recorded delivery or registered post and keep a copy.
Hopefully they will ignore you and you can then sell it on ebay and have a skiing holiday on the proceeds.
Are you near Weybridge, NW Surrey?:D0
