Shower trouble

I have reinstalled a Mira shower mixer to accommodate a high rise rigid pipe 9" shower head. Previously I had a telephone shower, and I was having water going everywhere. To do so, I had to install the mixer upside down to attach it to the bar. I did not install the new mixer that came with the shower, as I didn't want to disturb the pipes coming out of the wall. Since this installation, there's no cold water coming into shower, but only very hot water. I don't know what has happened, and an advice would be much appreciated...........

I assume the shower is thermostatic, by turning it upside down you have reversed the entry points for hot and cold so the thermostat is now unable to regulate the flows as it should. you need to trace the pipework back and cross it over at some point so that it works properly0

OP received the same answer from 1984 to the same question in another thread yesterday.
