Sorry not sure if right forum.
Here goes, any advice greatly appreciated.
I stay in a U shaped building. My address is the front of the building and I have always been charged for any communal (factor) charges for this area. However my flat actually is under the roof on the side (hope that makes sense!)
Anyway after 12 years my factor has suddenly informed me that they believe I could be liable for both the front and the side of the building repairs. This has came about due to roof repairs needed and the costs being substantial.
I have never been asked to contribute to this part of the building before. Are they fishing to spread the cost? Thanks

Tell them to take your contribution for the roof repairs from the fund you have contributed to! What does your lease document say?0
