Beware of this phone call

I keep getting called on my mobile phone and when I answer it there is no one there. I called it back without checking the number (I was driving but was on hands free) I got some quick message saying they would call me again and if I didn't want to receive any further calls to press '1' .
I didn't press '1'.
When I eventually checked the number it was 08450020012 and am wondering if this is some sort of expensive scam.
The problem is they keep calling me. Is there any way I can stop it?

i know you can sign up for TPS for your mobile, this should cover telephone calls, how about asking your network op to block calls from that number, i could be wrong mind

Googling this number brings up a whole host of info about it and what to do.
The article that mentions LBM Direct Marketing Limited has some useful info on how/who to complain to.
