Been off camping for the weekend - and to a beer festival with some good friends yesterday too which was excellent in spite of the torrential rain!
It's also given me the chance for two travel-sized UU's:
A mini Molton Brown Shower Gel - can't remember which scent but all theirs have really nice crisp scents in any case. WIBA? these are superb quality and you only need the tiniest bit to lather well, however the prices are sky high and lovely as they are I couldn't justifuy spending that much on a shower gel! I'll happily continue to blag samples when I buy the handwash as a present for my Dad, who loves it, for his christmas/birthday.
Also a Tony & Guy Frizz Smoothing Curl Shampoo - this was a really good size for a "mini" and seems to have been about for ages! WIBA? It was very nice, but probably no better or worse than most others of its type. Bottom line is that if it was on offer I'd probably buy it, but at full price, no.
Another one here who is put off from buying stuff as I'd have to confess by the way - tragic aren't we!
Sawan Thanks for putting your pics up for us - especially the desserts!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks for all the hugs and support guys! The day got MUCH worse but today was aot better =]
Finally gave my mom the S&G set I bought her for xmas, the hand and foot one, one cotton gloves and socks and hand food and heel genius, on the premise I could borrow one sock to keep my E45 covered foot from picking up dog hair as my eczema is ridiculously bad on just one foot atm.... *breath* lol sorry for the essay of a sentence! But she was really pleased, put the hand food on both hands as it smelt nice, and the heel genious on one foot to see how much it softened her hard skin hehe
Lady M - Me too!! Haha, see TBS comment below! =pAbsinthe_Fairy wrote: »Not at all - I swear I only started buying up the entire stock of The Body Shop after reading all the stash lists - before that I was pretty much just addicted to Lush!
Sorry about your crap day AlanisHugs to you, hope tomorrow is better
Thanks
I was the same too (apart from the Lush part.. The smell of that shop is truely suffocating to me! =s). Only ever used the GWP mini BBs (in shea only) you get. Now I have some scrubs, some full sized BBs, some shower gels, and a lip chapstick (although admittedly this is AMAZING!)flutterbyuk25 wrote: »me again. has anyone had their eyelashes tinted before? I'm contemplating it but wondered if it was worth it? I love mascara so can't see me not wearing it. The main reason I was thinking of having it done is that in Oct/Nov I'm going on a 4 week holiday so thought it would take the hassle out of worrying about mascara all the time! I'll be slumming it for part of my hols, staying in hostels etc.

Let me know how it goes! I was considering black eyelash tint and a lighter eyebrow tint soon as I'm blonde, but my eyebrows are a medium brown colour. So much so, people come up to me and say "you're not a natural blonde are you..." Maybe I'm just [STRIKE]PMSing constantly[/STRIKE] over sensitive, but I find this really offensive as I am very much a natural blonde!Anyone know anywhere for reasonable false nails, Really like elegant touch ones and not the cheap 99p shop ones but really cant afford any. Just fancy some to cheer myself up.
I really am trying to clear out stuff but still NEED (want) some nails.
I always go to SD or boots for mine, usually cost me anything from £3-10  (Although £10 is extortionate IMHO, I was having an argument with the OH so spent the moeny I was going to buy him something with on meeee :A)Only The Forgotten Are Truely Dead

Morning all.
Have two uu today, my mitchum 100ml roll on in powder fresh has just about given up, this was a real LHJ, there was a tiny bit left but I had it stood upside down and it was leaking round the roller a bit. Also have chucked a BS divide and multiply mascara, have been using this for ages and there didn't seem to be much on the brush anymore and it was smudging part way through the day.
Am trying to finish up the clinique mini mascara which came with the Glamour mag, this is lasting a long time too.The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
2 IN's today
Came home from work to a parcel from White Glo, I had sent them a complaint. My mum bought a tube of White Glo toothpaste to try, now shes on holiday and I ran out, so I opened it. It comes with a free toothbrush...it was still sealed in it's packaging but the toothbrush was dirty, you can see the marks on it through the packaging.
Anyway they have sent me 2 full sized 150g tubes with 2 new toothbrushes.0 -
Congrats to seasidedreamer!
Three OUTs for me in the shower this morning:
VO5 Nourish Me Truly shampoo sample - Possibly WBA as it did make my hair feel soft and also smelt quite nice, although I'm not sold on the whole 'adapts to your hair' spiel.
VO5 Nourish Me Truly conditioner sample - Possibly WBA as it felt nicely moisturising and had quite a nice fragrance.
Lush Glogg shower gel - Possibly WBA but maybe in the winter (if they bring it back for Christmas) as it had a lovely warming scent. However, it does need a shower puff as I felt it was quite watery and the bottle was quite hard to squeeze for some reason.Oh, and I'm swapping my Charles Worthing salt spray with flutterby for an eye pencil."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
Thanks:) It still doesn't feel real I think because we've been looking for so long!Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Afternoon. Where the hell is the summer?!!
Anyway some UU's to announce!
Nivea Gentle Cleansing Lotion - WIBA? - Yes this was really nice, and would definitely get it if on offer
Ted Baker Gentle Cleansing Scrub - WIBA? - No its nothing special, and not coarse enough
Clinique Moisture Surge Gel Cream - WIBA? - Yes but only if I was feeling particularly flush, as like all Clinique products is well overpriced
On to the IN's
17 Falsifye Mascara - Really liked the packaging plus you get a free gel eyeliner with a tiny brush. Not tried the mascara yet but the liner is suprisingly good.
The new Collection 2000 mascara (pink tube), as well as their liquid eye liner (HG). These were two for £5, and the mascara is AMAZING!0 -
Hello ladies,
Have been AWOL despite saying I wouldn't this month - Mum is visiting so not much free time at the mo. It's taken me a while to catch up on all the posts.
My UUs:
Baylis & Harding iced peppermint body scrub 50ml WNBA, hate the scent, hate the consistency (it was never a scrub!!). Out of an 8 part set now only have 3 left to go, phew.
Aldi night cream WBA and have already opened a new one from the stash. A bargain if ever there was one.
Thanks Sawan for the pics, I too love travelling and would happily look at other people's holiday snaps all day!
To be fair though, all I've bought here so far is some toothpaste, nail polish remover (definitely a lot more than my usual 99p stuff from boots!), facewipes for about £4 , and hairdye for about £10 )
It's not just the prices though, there are some things I just can't find here! I miss Boots
I went into the local Body Shop here today as they have a sale on. Wait for it... Body butters on sale were 12francs. At current exchange rate that's £9! On sale!!!! I think it was a 50% sale too. Nope, not shopping there!
Fixx - nail polish remover is also one of my UK staples. And as for the Body Shop, I once ventured into one here, never again, just ridiculous the prices. I am so grateful to be so close to the border and that I can stock up in Germany. The L'oreal hairdye I like is 6Euros there, the same thing equivalent of 15Euros in Switzerland:eek::eek::eek:. Rant over.

One IN yesterday.
Ojon Hair Care Restorative Treatment - the £40 price tag made me squeak, but since I was using gift vouchers, it was a small squeak. I hear good things about this stuff, and I'll use some tonight.
