    Lost the flipping post!!!!

I was just thinking, since I haven't actually bought any toiletries for months (just ins given to me but some were actually needed like the JPG deodorant and I binned the manky runny body lotion) I may go to SD tomorrow to hunt for 19p toiletries. If not then I may treat myself in Bodycare....I'll only have £1 so I must spend it wisely! What do you all suggest? No body lotions or moisturisers etc as I have 2 and a bit over here to use up.
Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.

well as a graduate :rotfl::rotfl: I still bulk buy things on good offers that we will certainly use.

If there is a good deal on deoderant/toothpaste those are IMO necessary purchases: even the most frugal MSEer should consider these important.

reasons I still buy ''useable'' multiples is a: I'm used to living in the sticks. While we don't now, I still shop like I do: it still saves petrol money if I don't shop weekly. More importantly it saves time and imulse buying. b; its cheaper c: it makes me feel ''safe'' to have enough essentials in the house. I keep poor health, and sometimes I don't like to go out. If I know I don't need to go out it is a good feeling. I never NEED to go out for lipstick, so thats never allowable. :)

My worst stash was actually loo rolls, and I stil cannot resist a loo roll offer. I'll be honest and say if I could buy it only once a year and stash enough for the rest of the year I would.:o

Oooh! Me me me me I am USELESS for doing this. I have no idea what I have though - no really. I'm a student and some is at my flat, some is at home (and there are cupboards of stuff) and some is my 'take with me' stuff. Dear Lord, I don't even know where to begin.

I seem to stockpile pads even though I haven't had AF for a year. I stockpile hairspray even though I use it once a week max. Just today I bought some new toothbrushes and a body scrub :o (I didn't own any body scrubs though. And I did just unwrap my last toothbrush.)

OK, enough excuses. I may have to count up all my crap...

What do you do with stuff you're NOT going to use?
I mean, I have a toothpaste that I like and I won't use anything else - should I just chuck the other stuff? :o

hello sweets, hows things? and horse?

after much agony we decided not to put my mare back in foal. :( She's suddenly seeming very old :(:( and she's very precious, I'd rather have her around paddock ornamenting for a few years than her ''being useful'' for 18 months. :(. We're currently in debate over what should join us next. well, I know what I want, but dh seems to think he's getting either an arab or a shire, (I really do need that roll eyed smiley back).

depends on the stuff. It was pointed out in early threads that women's refuges were often gratefull for stuff in decent state....e.g. useable nail poilsh, bottles of stuff half full that were clean and useable.

I wouldn't give icky ends of stuff to anyone! Some stuff has other uses: shampoo, bath stuff can clean the bathroom.

Stuff that is nice but not for you might be of use to girlfriends/work mates. :) teenage girls with approving mothers (daughters of friends/workmatesr if none in family) are grateful for the makeup we're passing on. Although I don't mind about dates it is fair to warn people of shelf lives of stuff: not all are relaxed about them.

I'm in please!!!! I promise not to go AWOL this month like I did last! I can't think of a single thing I need to buy this month, so in theory it should be easy... Yeah right... ;-)

    Ok, willpower on.... :-D
